05. Review
Our take
RiseWell helped define the US hydroxyapatite toothpaste category with a dentist-and-doctor founding story and a mineral-first formula. It is a credible clean pick, especially for families already sold on HAp. Value and dose clarity keep it just under the top two.
Clinical vibe, clean label
RiseWell sells trust as much as toothpaste. The brand story is clinician-founded, the marketing leans mineral rather than wellness-influencer, and the flagship paste is fluoride-free with hydroxyapatite as the remineralization idea. For many natural-leaning parents, that combination feels safer than a charcoal gimmick tube.
Tradeoffs
Tubes are often smaller than a standard 4 oz drugstore paste, so sticker price needs a per-ounce check. Flavor is competent rather than cult-favorite. Like several HAp brands, concentration disclosure is not always as blunt as "10% on the front," which costs a few transparency points in our model.
Bottom line
RiseWell is a top-tier recommendation when you want mineral remineralization and a serious brand. It is not the best value per ounce, and taste-seekers may still prefer Boka.
